About the Role
You will be working alongside a team working on the backend of Lexsynergy’s next generation platform. The platform uses a PHP 8.4 / Symfony 7.2 backend with a TypeScript 5.7 / React 19 frontend. The new platform, being a completely new system, uses modern techniques and technologies giving you a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of the platform.
Your day to day will involve taking the platform specification and turning it into fully featured API endpoints and frontend components to consume them. You will need to ensure your code is well tested with function/unit tests and it will go through code review, using GitLab merge requests.
Required Skills
1. PHP 7+ (2 years minimum)
2. JavaScript/TypeScript (2 years minimum)
3. Version control - Git
4. Symfony
5. React
6. Writing secure, performant, reliable and reusable code
7. Automated testing using tools such as PHPUnit, Jest, Cypress or Playwright
8. Working with an interactive debugger
