About TLD .aero
.aero is aviation's own Internet space offering an established alternative to the traditional TLDs - with the bonus that it is managed by aviation for aviation.
.aero is restricted to companies, organizations and individuals who are associated with the aviation industry. Within each eligible group, there are certain domains that can be registered. A full list of eligible groups and which domains can be registered can be found here: .AERO (information.aero)
Prior to registering a .aero domain, registrants must obtain a Membership ID from SITA, the .aero registry. This unique validity process screens potential domain registrants ensuring that they are valid members of the community. Thus, maintaining the integrity and exclusivity of the .aero domain, whilst removing the potential of "cyber squatters" and domain name speculators.

Once you have obtained your Membership ID you can return to Lexsynergy and submit your registration.

General remarks
As of 10 November 2023, the .aero registry is no longer accepting new or renews for registrations originating from or associated with the following countries and territories: Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Russia, Syria, North Korea, Venezuela, and the disputed ukrainian territories of crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zapofizhzhia.
Reserved domain names
Some domain names are reserved names; these are names which are ineligible for registration due to ICANN restrictions or Registry Operator designation. Certain Domain names have been classified as Premium and will be sold at higher prices. If you wish to apply for a Premium domain name, please email support@lexsynergy.com to process your application.
