.gay will bring together the world’s most proactive and vocal brands interested in equal representation and LGBTQ advocacy. It will be simultaneously raising funds for its beneficiary partners and creating an ongoing cycle of news and content about .gay’s work with brands, the public, and LGBTQ communities.

.GAY DONATION
20% of all wholesale registration revenue (e.g. sunrise, premium, or GA) will be donated to LGBTQ nonprofits by the .gay registry. Inaugural beneficiary partners include GLAAD and CenterLink; any future updates to partners will be posted on the registry site.

.GAY RIGHTS PROTECTIONS

.gay may not be used for inciting violence, bullying, harassing, or hate speech.
.gay may not be used by recognized hate groups.
When possible, the registry will endeavor to give the registrar a 72 hour remediation period for offending content; content in blatant and egregious violation of the policy will be acted on immediately.
