20% of all wholesale registration revenue (e.g. sunrise, premium,
or GA) will be donated to LGBTQ nonprofits by the .gay registry.
Inaugural beneficiary partners include GLAAD and CenterLink; any
future updates to partners will be posted on the registry
site.
.GAY RIGHTS PROTECTIONS
- .gay may not be used for inciting violence, bullying, harassing, or hate speech.
- .gay may not be used by recognized hate groups.
- When possible, the registry will endeavor to give the registrar a 72 hour remediation period for offending content; content in blatant and egregious violation of the policy will be acted on immediately.
