Earlier this year CNNIC, the .CN registry, sent emails to .CN registrants asking them to confirm that the contact information supplied for their .CN domain name were correct. Confirmation was recorded by clicking on a link inserted in the email notification. This process applied to all domain names registered before 14 December 2009.

Since some registrants claim not to have received a confirmation email, CNNIC will be resending these emails (from [email protected]) between 10 September 2010 and 30 September 2010 to those registrant who have not yet confirmed their contact information.

If the contact information is incorrect this could result in the suspension or deletion of the domain name.
