The new gTLD .tel will launch on 3 December2008.From the launch date until 2 February 2009 trade mark owners willbe given priority to register their trade marks as a .tel domainname (Sunrise Period).
The Sunrise Period will operate on a first come, first servedbasis. This means that the sooner an application is submitted thegreater the chance of securing the domain name.
The applicants trade mark must have been applied for before30 May 2008 and registered prior to3 December 2008.
