.BH is currently in the local registration phase and will remain so until 2 May 2022. 

During this phase all applicants (whether a business, entity, individual, organization) must be located or reside in Bahrain. This is to give priority to Kingdom of Bahrain residents and local businesses over those outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.  

After the conclusion of the local phase, .BH will enter the General Availability period meaning it will be open to everyone with no local presence restrictions. 

This period will begin on 3 May 2022 at 00:00 and will work on a first come first served basis. 

We recommend that any business that operates in the Middle East or has a trade mark in the Kingdom of Bahrain or neighbouring countries should register their .BH domain, as part of defensive registration strategy.
